We are thrilled Eileen McGinley Hannaford is the 2020-2022 Deputy Grand Marshal of the Newark St. Patrick's Day Parade!
Friday, March 11, 2022, this year's Parade is dedicated to the late Mary Sweeney Hall. Eileen is excited to collaborate with Jere Cole as 2022 Grand Marshal and Maryann Hannon Kostecka 2022 DGM. Our congratulations to Jere and Maryann.
Please invite all your family and friends to join us as we celebrate St. Patrick and all the traditions of the day. We are excited about our entire team! We need you to please attend as many events as possible. The most important being the day of the Parade, march with us or cheer us on from the sidelines. We will post events on the foundation's Facebook & @kevinhannaford.org.
Please share the parade celebrations info with everyone, as we want the world to join us in the forthcoming celebrations of our Family, Faith, and Heritage! Founded in 1936, the St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee, Inc. is composed of delegates from over one hundred Irish, Fraternal, Catholic, and Public Safety Organizations and other Civic, Social, and Athletic Organizations.
The Investiture will be Friday, February 11, 2022, at the Highlawn Pavilion 1 Crest Drive West Orange, NJ 07052. An invitation is attached and on our Foundation website. It promises to be a lovely evening celebrating the honorees and the tradition of 87 years marching the streets of Newark.
The committee is actively planning for the Parade held on Friday, March 11, 2022. The agenda for the day includes a 10:30 AM Mass followed by Grandstand ceremonies at Noon with prompt step-off at 1 PM. The parade committee plans a festive post-parade reception; details are coming soon.
