On September 11, 2001, Kevin bent over to kiss his sleeping 2-year-old son, Patrick. He patted the belly of his pregnant wife, Eileen, and told her again that he loved her. Then Kevin melted into the predawn darkness. Later that morning, in World Trade Center 1, Kevin left us all. On January 9, 2002, Kevin gave us all a wonderful gift - his son Kevin, Jr. Even though Kevin is no longer with us, his spirit will forever be alive in his sons' hearts, Eileen's heart, and in the hearts of all those who knew him, as well as through the gifts of the Kevin J. Hannaford, Sr. Foundation, Inc.

The Kevin J. Hannaford Sr. Foundation, Inc. offers financial assistance for children whose lives have been affected by the loss of a parent. The gifts from the Kevin J. Hannaford Sr. Foundation, Inc. will assist children in pursuing educational opportunities. It is our hope that through this gift, a child will develop into a healthy, giving adult.
